I feel for you, fortunately my ex has been really good in this department, i think because he knew i would threaten for him not to see Blake. I know its a harsh thing to do, but in his case he never really cared about Blake until Blake was old enough to do more things for himself.

I know in Australia you can contact the Child maintenance people and they can organise to have it taken out of the persons wage???

All the best its alot of money that he owes you and if you ask me he is a bit of a lousy father in that respect that he wont provide financially for his daughter

Although child support has nothing to do with visitation, it is a responsibility of the other parent to provide monetary support.

Can his wages be garnished automatically from his paycheck? I believe that would be your choice.

Would you press charges against him? How else will he care about what he's not doing?

And yes....living isn't free!! Contributing something is better than nothing.

Dam, how and why do guys get away with this???!!!! I'm divorced over 6 years now and haven't missed one child support payment - I can't imagine not paying my share. I even get static from some of my friends because I end up paying for most of the kid's bills (glasses, dental, sports camps, etc.). I just don't understand guys who think they're getting "back" at their ex by not paying child support. Unbelieveble.

Call your lawyer and take the bum to court.
