I was there! But I was only 5 years old at the time(we were part of the Fairfield, IA contingent). Funny, the only thing I remember from those assemblies were the food tickets. I probably saw you get baptized as I always went down to the front and watched up close. Facing the stage, the pool was to the left, correct? Mine was: May 11, 1991 - Escondido, CA Assembly Hall (the golden colored years)

1973-ish... the assembly was in Kerrville, TX (a circuit assy), and the baptism was held in a private home... in some sort of concocted pool-type thing... it was colder than a dogs' nose... in February, I think.
Details are sketchy... I've forgotten most of that stuff. (almost said 'thank God' - hahahahaha)

P.S. they were using a 'yellow book' with the... was it '80 questions'?? I went through them in the usual setting of 5 or 6 candidates... and then went through them AGAIN - with the presiding fella... (C.O.??). I think that he either felt that I 'cheated' on the answers, or didn't know the stuff... but I had to do them twice.
Anyone else have to go through the 'test' twice??
