Hey Nowman. I was at that convention at Hawthorne. Ran out of milk and only mothers with children and children could get any.
We sat behind those big glass panels and I remember the original DQ was there and open.
That was a yucky part of town I thought.

April 12 1980 - Bowes Rd Assembly Hall, London, England. The baptism pool was next to a tea & coffee section. Some dufuss had spilt the money drawer into the pool so I was baptised with loose change under my feet.

Yes, bad part of town. Yet, Hawthrone was better than Sportsman...The year before that, Dad, Mom, and I were in the modern day drama. I played a worldly girl named "Dolly Winters". Maybe you were at that one too. I do not remember the DQ. I always remember the big Coke a Cola sign (the big red lip) on the way there, it was a way of knowing we were close by, I was coming from Norhthern Illinois at that point in my life.
