Before I am criticized for this, please understand the difficulty of having this book in the house while still a jw.

I was hoping to find this book or portions of it online. Please PM me if you have any details.

I don't think there are any bits of it on-line. I looked for a log time myself, and finally ended up ordering it on e-bay of all places.

I would recommend the 4th edition, if you do buy, as it covers much more of the current events we are hearing about.

A year or so ago I found an _older_ version of CoC online. But I cannot find it now, probably was removed. --VM44

I don't know which edition it was, but the introduction to Crisis of Conscience was online for a while. It was extremely good!!! I borrowed the book from the library and found that the intro was changed. I really enjoyed the older one, but I can't find it online anymore.

The book is well worth purchasing, its price is not high, and the author deserves the support of the readers of his books.

However, that being said, I understand there are situations where keeping the book in a person's house might not be the best thing to do. So that is why I am posting the links to these four chapters from an _older_ edition of the book.

Please buy the book when your situation allows you to bring it into your home.
