Sadaam is out for world power/domination, Bin Laden is out to destroy the US for God. We are considered scum to them and must be annialated for Him. They have different adgenda and wouldn't get together because of this, IMHO anyway. Both crazy, but not in the same way.

The US should start with some Fuel-Air missiles. I am not sure how familiar people here are with the effects of Napalm or Super-Napalm.
Since we are at war we should not be concerned with collateral damage within the borders of a particular country but we do need to be concerned with the radiation effects on the heighbors of the countries we attack.
Napalm is effective in this respect (and we now have Napalm capabilities MUCH greater than ever before).
These have evolved into Fuel-Air Missiles. A fuel-air explosive can have the effect of a tactical nuclear weapon without residual radiation.

I hope that when the response comes it is directed at those who are responsible and not at civilians. We have to be better than that.
Would the authorities decide to use nukes in Afghanistan when the rats return to their camps? Would they use them in the Bekka valley if the Hamas are part of this?
It looks like Pakistan might allow an invasion from their country if Bin Laden is not stopped. Something has to be done because I fear the next Big Thing would be a nuke going off in some big city.
I honestly believe that the influence of the Holy Spirit held off all out nuclear war and I pray that any attempt like this would backfire on the terrorists.
Since NATO has confirmed article five, might an invasion be launched on the camps in Lebanon from Turkey, crossing through Jordan?
As far as speculating on a possible response, some tactical nukes have minimal radiation and fallout. They were made during the cold war in order to allow repopulation soon after a war.....
