    Bendrr,

If Afganistan wants to aid and abet terriorists then in the near future there will be a big parking lot on the map.

Do we really want to go there? Remember this from the previous administration:"There is no longer much doubt that Bin Laden has finally succeeded in his quest for nuclear ‘suitcase bombs," says Yossef Bodansky, head of the Congressional Task Force on Non-Conventional Terrorism in Washington. The guilty must be punished but it's unwise to assume that they won't retaliate in turn. Perhaps these weapons are already in place, sitting there just waiting for that phone call. I'm not saying we should do nothing. Just consider that things can get much worse than it was yesterday-a horror beyond imagination. I don't want that for us or for the people of Afghanistan.

Very small nuclear weapons are very sophisticated, unlikely that bin Laden, even with his money, could build one. I have heard that seven have gone missing from Russia in the last few years, maybe he could purchased one. However, given the mentality, if he had one he would have probably already used it.

Pork Chop, Osama Bin Busy the past few years. Our attention was focused on Bill Bin Lyin', Monica and Ken Starr. He purchased the suitcase nukes from the Chechens for thirty million in cash and heroin. About the same time his buddy Salim was busted in Munich for attempting to buy some nukes. I think he has them and he's saving them for us. I'd hate to play "chicken" with that lunatic just to see what he has stockpiled.

    btw, Hey Six!

I think that everyone here has a point. It is a hard call to make...we have no real concrete proof that it was the Arabs or Bin Laden, but he has said years ago that he would bomb the World Trade center. I understand the logic behind the US gov having him at the top of the list. But who is to say that there wasn't inside help? It could be that we have ourselves another Timothy McVeigh, who was working along with Bin Laden, if it was him. I feel very sorry for the Arabic and Middle Eastern people who will have to suffer the racial backlash from this event. Countless millions of foriegners who are US citizens, will now be getting fingers pointed and nasty remarks, just because they are walking down the street.

However, I do feel that once the gov finds out who did this, they should fry! Live by the bomb, die by the bomb...but I don't think that innocent civilians should be compromised, even though that was the case here.

I think that our main problem is Bush. He is a complete moron, and everyone is sitting around waiting for him to make decisions. I have a feeling he will make the wrong ones...just like his dad did when he let Hussein go free.

    BTW COMF,
I think that poem is beautiful!!!!

    My Sincere Regards,
    Joanne

    COMF,

Thank you for the poem you shared.

Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

My questions are, how do we become captain of our souls and find ourselves unafraid? We can be captain of our fate to a certain degree, but what about the fear we feel and how do we iliminate that fear in our very souls?

    peace,
somebody...who needs to know the trick right now. I want to be unafraid and without fear in my soul. I want to be captain.

Well I have been accused of being a terrorist for my thoughts on this matter so I can safely say I am not taking the ‘soft stance’. However the use of NBC (nuke, bio, chem) weapons will cross the line in my opinion. I think we need to eliminate the Taliban’s ability to govern their country and that can be accomplished with conventional weapons if they are delivered without restrictions.
