Light candles in the windows tonight to show that we feel with
America and the tragedy that have hit them. Light it for all the
people who have lost their lives and for their family that now are
left behind, especially for all the children who will not see their
    parents again.

Let them see that we stand together!

I just wanted to tell you, folks - outside the US embassy in Olso, thousands of bouquets of flowers, and thousands of candles are lighting up the street. The US ambassador personally thanked the public for the support to night.

In our own window, a candle is burning for the victims.

Thank you, Kent. The display of unity and sympathy throughout the free world is moving. I have been brought to tears more than once knowing that we do not stand alone in this horrible time.

I will, Kent. I also am attending a candlelight vigil tonight in Chicago. I have also given blood, and people in my neighborhood are getting up donations, clothing and food.

If I could do more, I would. Fred, I guess maybe us so-called "apostates" might help after all. Did you give blood?

    Thank you very much, Kent.

The show of support is tender and much needed, and in keeping with the gentler side of your ego.

Just a thought for us all..............

Along with the support, blood, physical help, monetary help is needed too. I've not given blood yet, but have logged on to the RedCross website to contribute financial help from myself and my husband.

I'm sure there's other sites too. This give phone numbers, web addresses ect., to major disaster relief groups.

Thank you again, Kent. However, I live out in the country - and only the squirrels & possums would see my candle.

Even though I may disagree with many actions done by the US, nobody can accept such dreadful actions as demonstrated in the US now. I believe it's important to show that we are all supporting the US government and officials in hunting down the monsters responsible, and not the least - supporting the victims and the victims families!

I believe it's not a big help - but even the least of comfort for these people should be given.

I believe waiting, that if only the squirrels & possums would see my candle, I would still light it....

But again - that's me. A stubborn old varior with his own weird principles.

There was a nationwide minute of silence at 10:00 here. Public buildings are carrying black flags, people have been placing flowers in front of the US embassy since the day it happened.
Good to see that 'the world' is drawing closer together. If there's anything positive to find in these events, it may be that.

    That's compulsory in Scandinavia :-)
