Hi Kent,
I would like to commend you for the kind and compassionate idea. So many things have been going through my mind about those poor people on the planes and in the buildings. How about those guys on the PA. crash plane who managed to keep it from getting to the target? Heros, one and all.
I also have empathy for the poor, misguided souls who believe the lies of people like Bin Laden. I pray that those like them and their families come to salvation, which I believe is the only answer to the world's problems.
Really, any of us could stoop to such things if we are not careful in who we follow.

As an American and a fellow human being I salute you. FYI for those of you who will be lighting candles this evening, be careful. I heard on the news this morning in my hometown that someone doing that last night burned their house down! Please be careful!!

Well, I lit my candles tonight and looked outside and didn't see anymore lit. I got kind of disappointed, but kept mine lit anyway. A little while later I walked outside and burst into tears.
ALL my neighbors had candles in their windows. Some had 3 or 4. The whole block was lit up. It was truly inspiring.....
