"Condemned" is a good word. I get bored after 15-20 minutes. I haven't been to a beach since 1999 and I don't miss it a bit.
If I had to be on a beach I would want my laptop, wireless internet access, and several extra batteries. And lots of beer, and a BBQ too.
No people. They just annoy me.
