How much does Bethel pay these days?

$110 that's not much in the year 2006, but the Bethelites are looking for the fame and status of having been at Bethel to satisfy their vanity. All they produce is poisonous literature that misleads and enslaves minds.

Obviously you don't mean all but...I knew many who were there for the same reason I was there....because we honestly believed it was "God's Organization" and we wanted to do our part. Period. We gave up much, at times.

Perhaps the motive you ascribe to Bethelites speaks more of folks you know personally or character flaws that particularly annoy you.

Bethelites, like posters here, have a wide variety of motives for their behavior.

I filled my pickup up with gas last week and it cost $70. Cost of living has almost doubled in many places in the last 6 years.

It was $14.00 a month when I was in. That, however, was a very long time ago. No idea now.

Gary, I got tired of that $70 gas fill-ups and found a Geo Metro. I'm going just as far on $25. I just wish there was a way to make my truck do that again.

My P.O. suggested that I should go to Bethel. "After all, it's the safest place to be this side of this system of things," he said.
To this day, they've still got kids saying they want to go there. These kids are better off slinging burgers at McDonalds; at least that pays more, and you'll have a lesser chance of coming in contact with a child molestor like Jesus M. Cano...
