"Holy crap kid-A!!! When did you do all that? Post-JW or during?!"

LOL! I was "born-in" to a JW family, but never really believed any of it and was never baptized. I did a 5 year Bachelor of Science, followed by a 6 year Doctoral degree and 3 years Post-Doctoral before landing a Professorship, pretty standard timelines in academic research. You have to LOVE research to be willing to spend 11 years at University! LOL

    >Good luck with your thesis, sounds like an interesting area

I was told that only 10% of the U.S. population graduates from a four year university, so that % of witnoids doing so isn't too far off. I finished in May of this year with a degree in English.

    All post-JW, but I left at 18.

(Jankyn is a common ME name, and it's the name of the student who is the Wife of Bath's last husband, the one she really loved)

    ------------------------------------------

    1) it's actually 26% (from http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/departments/elearning/?article=mosteducatedstates)

    2) the least educated state is west virginia (16% hold BA/BS degrees or higher).

well except for the dubbies, who live in the state of denial. :-)

    Kudra,

Naw, I'm just a lowly cultural anthropologist. I don't deal with tree ring data. I know lots of archies, though, obviously, as they're huge at ASU.
