Well blow me down. I learned something new today about JW doctrine. From page 79 of the "WHAT DOES THE BIBLE Really TEACH?" I learn that the reason Jesus asked the disciples to pray for God's will to be done "as in heaven, also upon the earth" was because Satan was still romping around up there. Paragraph 11 continues, "Hence, not all in heaven were then doing God's will. That was to change when God's Kingdom would begin to rule."

I assume from this that it is no longer proper for a JW to say the Lord's Prayer, as God's Will has been perfected in Heaven since 1914? Too bad for old earth, eh?

I don't understand why Jesus just didn't throw the old devil in prison in the first place.

That is something I never could imagine. Why would the Almighty God and his Son Jesus Michael Christ allow the Devil of all creations to stay with them in heaven. Why not boot Satan's ass out right after Jesus Michael Christ returned from being on the Telephone Pole?

They allowed them to stay in heaven because they enjoyed associating with apostates

The JW-doctrine on that eviction of Satan doesn`t make sense a all. Ok, first he rebells with all those other angels, because they want to go down to earth and have sex with all the hot human ladies. Then (if we are following JW-doctrine), he is let back in! - or at least allowed to "hang around" (despite the fact that the Bible clearly teaches (lol) that the disobedient angels are incarsarated in Tartarus, where Jesus goes to visit them/preach to them during his three days of death after the crucifiction) - only to be kicked out again in 1914. Does that make any sens at all? And where is the Biblical evidence (other than that it has to be this way for the JW-doctrine/puzzle to add up) ?. JWs, if you read this post: Think about this one! Then go ask your local elder for an explanation.

I don't understand. I always thought "as in heaven, also upon earth" meant that it would eventually be done on earth, just as it was already being done in heaven. What?????????

Hmmmm, in Luke 10:18, Jesus says: "I saw Satan fall out of heaven, like a lightning-flash". I guess the Bible doesn't really teach that? No discussion of this scripture.

Jesus must have seen that as a future vision, when he was looking through his Urim-Thummim glasses.

Talk about uber-day-pass. I sure HOPE the human prisons don't let THEIR inmates out to romp around so freely.
