Creed? Since the JW leadership rejects the adoption of a creed you are left to graze their creed from and endless supply of books and magazines. The writing of many books is also needed because their unstated creed can change in an instant, keeping up with the celestial chariot of course.

Barbara Anderson mentioned that when researching the proclaimers book they tried to identify religions through the centuries related to what JWs now believe, but could not find any. The 4 criteria were
- trinity
- hellfire
- immortality of the human soul.
- acceptance of the ransom sacrifice of Christ as defined by Jehovah’s Witnesses
I think there is only one core belief - ACCEPTANCE OF THE GOVERNING BODY. All other beliefs can change.
For instance Russell did not define his anti Trinity stand until the 1890s, and Jesus was still worshipped until the 1950's.
The original message was the Armageddon was that t would come in 1914 and "worldly people" were the ones to survive Armageddon on to earth.
The Great Crowd of JWs did not even get invented until the 1930's.
Russell said the core doctrine was the Ransom, but Rutherford made the core doctrine Allegiance to an organization - the Watchtower Society.

... For the MetroCentre, it means five free house cleansings in the next five weeks, one reason MetroCentre officials enjoy hosting the Jehovah’s Witnesses. ... Core beliefs: They get their name from the Bible, in which “Jehovah” is the personal name of God. They believe in a government by God only, and therefore do not vote, pledge allegiance to any flag or serve in the armed forces. The only holiday they observe is the commemoration of Jesus Christ. They evangelize by going door to door.
