The talk about healthcare was not concerning alternate methods of care. It was talking about in so many words about being to concern with spending lots of time making sure you have it all togther that you have the right coverage the right doctors the right hospitals ect. they didnt use those exact words but thats what you can come away with. It was said that Jehovah will take care of us, the kingdom will fix all our problems including health- that we need to be more concern about preaching.

how ironic that last nights service meeting they read a letter from the society asking for contributions for the traveling overseers "healthcare", you know cost per publisher thing stating the rise in the cost of healthcare something we should not be so concern about , yeah right.

    Carla would you agree?

Oh, a new chapter. I suppose they are going to pick up the tab if people don't have enough health insurance....not!

Back in 1997, the WTS said that JWs with health insurance were more likely to find doctors willing to operate without blood.

In the United States, for example, many carry health insurance, although such tends to be expensive. Some Witness families have found that certain doctors are more willing to consider nonblood alternatives when families have medical coverage. Many physicians will accept the amount of payment permitted under limited insurance plans or government health coverage.

While we cannot tell anyone to obtain health insurance, we must let you know that we often have serious problems getting an otherwise usually cooperative doctor to treat those who do not have adequate or any medical coverage.

I didn't go.........but they have complained in the past that people converse too much about their aches and pains and medical solutions.
