It didn't work out. BUT........we are still very good friends and keep in touch a lot. It all worked out for the best.

I think after being alone for 10 years, I would probably make a lousy husband anyway.

Happy Dad, not to be too hard on yourself, most of us aren't that peachy, wonderful in relationships. We all have flaws. The main thing is to leave selfishness out of things as much as possible. I was walking through my bedroom the other day when I noticed All You Need Is Love was playing. For some reason these lyrics really hit me with a clarity that they never had before:

In other words, no matter where we are or who we're with or what is going on, good or very trying, we can get through it if we have love. I mean the unselfish, altruistic kind of love. Couples need this kind of love even more so than the romantic kind of love.
