During some heavy meditations facing my demons last winter, an eagle glided over me, hovered directly above me @ maybe 199 ft up for quite a while. It's unusual to see an eagle in this city. Not sure if that would make it my spirit animal, but, i took it as an encouraging sign.

Once, while moving old boxes around I uncovered a rat. I was very spaced out. I was so out of it that the rat and I made direct eye contact, neither one of us flinched. He could have bit my nose off or jabbed me in the eyes. I was so very lucky. to add, the rat's eyes seemed very human.I won't be doing that again.

I did some trance work with the aid of a witch a long time ago. Very interesting stuff. Crows figured prominently then thought it wasn't a quest for a spirit guide per se.
It's funny. Today I saw a monarch butterfly whilst I was pondering recent events. I haven't seen one in many years. Strange these coincidences if you inclined to read into them.

What do I know about him? I know his name. I know he's very protective of me. Beyond that I don't discuss him much.

One of my children was discussing a grandparent's death, and a butterfly landed on their shoulder and stayed there. It was not afraid. My child feels it was their grandparent or at least their spirit. I agree. This child was very close to the grandparent and was with them when they died.

We have a white squirrel that lives in our back yard. We've lived here for 8 years, so I don't know if it's the same white squirrel or if there is a family of white squirrels.
This isn't our squirrel, but it looks like the one that lives in our yard.
