I have a 3 year old and I only WISH I couls get her to love and be occupied by something I bought for her. The usual span is around 4 minutes and then it is back to climbing on me.
It sounds like you have yourself a people person there, mama. Maybe you can find her a play group or something. People persons make great Presidents too.
It just goes to show that expensive gifts are not a way to our children's hearts.
It's the simple things they love.

Sounds a lot like my kitten and one of those dollar store plastic articulated snakes. It kept him out of trouble for ages when we put it in a box lid. Ive realized that kittens are a lot like toddlers.

What you should do now is ask him to say the names of the pieces as he puts them into place. Once he masters that you'll have an awesome video to show off you son.
