Just think, some of us went through the same ridicule (family) that you have when we came INTO the org. That is one of their best deterrents for losing their braindeads. The more family in , the harder it is to decide to leave. I bet half the active JWs feel so trapped due to family connections. hats off former dub. F your parants and family for now and hope one day before one of you pass they will see the light you have already found.

Sasha - on this site you will find lots of "phrases" used to describe and/or taunt JWs - a few of the common ones are Hoho's, JDubs, Witlesses and Dubs just to name a few. You should understand, just use your "context clues."

Lost One there are quite a few here who have lost their families due to the wbts hateful dominating behavior.
I am one of them. A good example of this loss is the recent death of my wife. Some of my children drove almost 500 miles to be with me during the loss. The rest sent flowers and cards and called me.
One child still in the jw mess living only 70 miles from me didn't come or contact me in any way.
If you feel the need to vent your feelings here, don't worry, we are used to it and it can be helpful.
