Today, my husband broke up a fight some teenagers were having in front of our house. He is very uninvolved usually, so I was impressed that he did it, and at some risk to himself too! Police were eventually called when the kids kept coming back at each other.

I took a lady's shopping cart in to the store for her. Bought some school supplies for a needy kid. Thats all I got.

Well, we just heard about some bad teenagers and before that a great teenager (Richie Rich!) So I will tip the scale back in favor of teenagers today. My 17 year old son took me to lunch today and paid for the whole thing for no special reason, just because I'm his mom and he loves me. I've been thinking all day what a great kid I have and how proud I am of the way he is turning out. So here's to Richie Rich, my son, and all the other great kids out there who give teenagers a good name!

ps: Richie, I hope you and your mom will make up one day and she will realize and be proud of what a wonderful independent spirit you have!

This thead is leaving me in tears.

It's so wonderful to know that there are such kind caring people.

    Thank you all.

I got nothing...I think I'll stop and buy donuts for everyone in the office today. Give them all a sugar high.

My dear husband just left to take a friend out of the palliaive care unit to watch the big parade here. He has brain cancer and not much time left. My husband is a very kind man and I am always proud of him and the many random acts of kindness that he does each and every day.

I love teenagers today. They are so smart, witty and I think very concerned about very important issues. The best part of being a parent is when you not only love your teenage children, but realize how much you LIKE them as people. One of the best rewards as a parent and I thank God every day I had 3 beautiful children to raise. What a blessing to even be able to have a child. Thank you Jehovah for that privilege!

Not today but last week, we were buying school clothes and the poor checker looked like he was going to drop, but he still took time to visit with the kids, give sound advice and generally great customer service despite all of Dallas trying to get school stuff that night.

I heard him say he was hungry and we asked if he got dinner. Well he had worked straight through. So My daughter and I walked to the local Vietnamese place and got his chicken lo mein and a bopar nin cha. Not sure of the spelling, but it is a bubbly iced tea with milk and pearls. (one of my favorite things) The pearls are a tapioca. Anyhow, you should have seen his face and the way he tore into it. It was great!

People can't depend on parking spaces like they used to so that's not a big deal . Cell phones have destroyed any parking etiquet we may have had ....
