Yeah, how about the kids that participate in hazing that causes injury. In IL there was the rich kids that were caught hazing. It was caught on tape, girls forcing other girls to drink blood, urine, hitting them causing broken bones and a broken nose. When it came to light the kids were punished by not being allowed to go to graduation and this caused a HUGE uproar and there were law suits. The rich kids whose parents sued, were allowed to go to graduation. I was so angry over this. It just proves that injustice is just a buck away. What happened to accountability. I blame the parents as well. They were the ones that paid for the Federal lawsuit claiming that it would be an injustice for their kids not to graduate w/ their class and that "girls will be girls" and it is a "right of passage". But these were not the families that had to deal with sick children.

The punishment is sufficient. When you're 16-17 years old you don't think about the possible consequences of a prank. They were criminally negligent and the punishment is community service. It doesn't have anything to do with football.
