I hope that as more time passes, innitial reactions that were not characteristic of the individuals who made them will be realized to be such due to the shock and horror of the tragedy.
Hate and prejudice cannot be tolerated. Unfortunately when such an incident occurs, it is the easy and often the first reaction.
I am increasingly hopeful that the American government will act responsibly as it carries out justice in a way that satisfies the prinicples on which many free countries are founded. Patience is needed so that those who are the criminals are brought to justice and so that those who are innocent can remain free and secure.
