Noooooooo I think they will stay on the save side and make nasty remarks about the Chistian religions.

Do they say just how the end of false religion will happen? What is the canned answer for a householder who asks which religions are the false ones? They can hardly be blunt and say all of them but ours!

I've already heard it. It will go something like this:

We can't say any particular religion is false but we as individuals can examine our beliefs. (The war in the Middle East may be used as an example) The bible, god’s word, contains the answers to these questions and with the help of the WT&A we can easily find the answers. and on and on...... would you like a bible study with one of .........

Does it occur to anyone else that this pamphlet might seem threatening or offensive to people who will grasp that the JWs are saying that every religion is false but the JWs? So, by that reasoning, JWs are coming to your door saying, "Your religion is about to be destroyed, and mine will be the only one left." Isn't that rather presumptuous?

Bizzy - you correctly pinpoint the JW attitude -

"Your religion is about to be destroyed, and mine will be the only one left." Isn't that rather presumptuous?

It probably would seem especially so to an islamacist, who essentially wants to believe the same thing about themselves...

lol. Very reliable, very close. Isn't it fun dealing in abstracts? I mean 1000 years is just but a day to Jah right that's very close?

Very interesting that the Knocking 'documentary' will be airing around the same time. It wouldn't surprise me if the whole thing is a well thought out marketing campaign.

We can't say any particular religion is false but we as individuals can examine our beliefs.

The householder could ask: I am Muslim extremist and I study the Koran----- Do you as an individual think my religion is false?

And here is the proof, a statement with no scriptural support, expected to be believed because the F&D slave said so.
The destruction of “Babylon the Great” is fast approaching.

It makes me so angry when they start with the scare tactics--IDIOTS

From an early copy of the November 15 Watchtower -

12 In similar fashion to the invisible parousia of our Lord in 1914, this imminent destruction of false religion will likely be invisble also. Those with 'eyes of faith' will be able to see it occur. They will rejoice when the clergy begin to finally see that they are really a bunch of dead guys walking. Then these faithless ones of the earth will come clamoring to the doors of Jehovah's figurative [also invisible] ark for salvation. They will pound with invisble fists as the invisible destruction falls upon them and the invisble blood reaches the invisble bridles of the invisible prophetic horses spoken of by the now actually dead Ezekiel.

13 Then who will be the laughingstock, as we look about with our eyes of faith and see that we are the only people on earth that know that religion is gone and that all of mankind, who still believe they are alive, are really dead. Religion will have died an invisible death at the hands of the grand and Invisible Creator. What can we say now? We say again and again - 'Awesome' is your throne and your kingdom in all it's invisible glory.
