Or...how about the ones that move into your relatively peaceful congregation only to screw it up big time, and before long the whole hall is divided, and everyone can't stand each other. Then the family that started it all, up and moves to another hall leaving all their wreckage behind.
I never did it, did you?

When I was studying at age 17, my bible teacher, very beautiful girl, two other beautiful sisters and I went to Panama City Beach for a few days. We went to the Kingdom Hall and all the single guys hit us after the meeting on Sunday. I recall thinking, "I'm not clean enough for these squeaky clean witness guys."
I can imagine how exciting it must have been for four, well at least three young and very pretty sisters to grace their KH with their presence.
I'm going to be 48 next birthday and so will one of the sisters. The other two sisters are 50 now. *Sigh* Well, we had our day.
By the way, in suburban Atlanta congs., the sisters wore bikinis and skirts above the knee. When I moved to Chicago, my teacher made me ditch my above the knee skirts and two piece. Imagine that, Chicago was more conservative than Atlanta.

Honesty
Yes.
It helped open my eyes that there is a worldwide brotherhood who have a lot in common.
Probably speeded up my escape by a couple of years.

I've done it twice. Of course, when I went to Mexico, it was quite needed. The brothers helped us with food, fun things to do, parking, and more. Though I did have to go out in f/s....and it was not easy. The whole town was crampt and filled with serpentine passages into obscure alleyways.

Black Sheep
No!!!
My family does it though. Even when I am on holiday with them. It's great. Gives me some time on my own to experience all the stuff they are missing out on.
Cheers

Yea we had one of those, only they stopped in our cong. They are usually a big scruffy family with loads of highly sexed daughters who proceed to seduce wet eared MS's, who should really be catholics, but got into the wrong religion by mistake and stayed.

Stop for gas and give someone a tract or preach.
Study for the meetings as a family while on vacation and make sure you do not miss the meetings whereever you go.
And why did we do it?
The GB always played with our conscience and put us on a guilt trip if you did not do all of those things, you were viewed unspiritual if you did not go to a kingdom hall on vacation.

The only time I ever went to meetings or on service whilst on holiday, was when my ex husband and I went and stayed with some jw friends in spain. We were poor pioneers and had no choice.
We actually attended all the meetings over the course of 2 weeks and went on service twice. Uhhh!!
And we didn't understand a word of it. -

Yes, a couple of times.
Once in Portugal (couldn't understand a bloody word!)
Once in Pwhelli (is that how ya spell it?) in North Wales. Trouble was that because it's a real tourist area, the hall was packed with chuffin' JWs on holiday and you could tell the indigenous witnesses were really pissed off with the tourists. They ignored us flat.
Lovely fellowship...ah the memories.
Peace
