When I was little I used to make list of things like all the words I knew that started with a certain letter.
When that got boring, I would make a list of all the swear words I knew. (Almost got caught when my dad found the crumpled up paper, but he thought it was my brother's writing)
I used to see how long I could hold my breath and time my self on the second hand of my watch. When I kept turning blue my stepmother made me stop!
I pulled hairs with split ends out of my head and tried to see if I could split the hair all the way down without breaking it.
I folded note paper and programs, Kingdom Ministries, etc. into fans and pretended I was hot and fanned myself.
I took pens apart and put them back together, also did the secret note in the pen thing.
I put juicy fruit wrappers back together to make it look like it still had gum in it and offered it to whoever was sitting beside me.
I put sweet harts candies in my pocket with love messages and passed them through the crack in the seat to the cute boy sitting behind me. (When I got caught, I couldn't sit in front of him anymore)
I made finger puppets and those paper thingys where you pick a number and there is a secret message inside.
Experimented with how much time I could possibly waste in the bathroom before my stepmother came looking for me.
Oh, and last but not least, doodled moustachs on all the beardless Israelites in the Watchtower. (including the women)
Cog... ahh the memories
Katie you have a PM

I recall doing this as well. CD -- were you ever successfull in getting the hair to split all the way down?
Purza
Hmm that reminds me. I used to come back from the washroom with a mouthful of water and pretend I was amphibious and that if I couldn't swallow a little bit of water with each breath I'd suffocate. That game lasted until all the water was gone of course.
That's funny.
I used to put a felt tipped pen on the kingdom ministry and watch the ink blot grow.
Count ceiling tiles.
Draw a line in the crease of whatever book it was.
See if I could get my foot to fall asleep to the point I couldn't move it.
Try to draw a portrait of a random person in the hall. I'm no artist by any stretch of the imagination but one time it came out perfect.
Sometimes I would practice my Latin during the meetings. I would try to translate the Scriptures cited by the speakers into Latin. You know the meetings might have been much more interesting if the speakers had given their talks in Latin.

Well, as a matter of fact Purza, I was successful. I believe all my years of training as a JW was instrumental in developing my superior hair splitting skills!

Lol Monkeyshine: Your post reminded me I used to do all these too but I forgot. I would like to copy and paste them to my previous list.
Question: After you counted the ceiling tiles, did you ever try and count the little holes in the tiles? Now that would truly be an accomplishment! Also, after your foot fell asleep, did you get a little sexual thrill when the blood rushed back into it and you got the pins and needles effect?

Dear Katie
See my reply to Purza's post. I'm sure I could help you both out with some hairsplitting techniques. So nice to find another kindred spirit here. I love your sense of humor!
