Just relax, i personally doubt that there is anything worth getting all bent out shape.
I don't think there is an announcement. I think its a bunch of hype over nothing. I think they wish threre was an announcement to interuppt there dull boring mundane drone-like existence, but I dont think so!!

I think it's all a plot of the WTS. Their moles have started the rumors on the internet....If those of us that still attend start asking the elders if there is a big announcement coming up, then they'll know we have been visiting evil apostate sites.

Well, I have. There are elders that I know personally that have stated so. Shortly after the letter regarding disaster preparation was read; an elder that I know personally said that "more things are to come". As I've also stated before, a person that I know personally, visited with a member of the GB. This GB said that there were going to be some "big changes", and that "many people weren't going to like it".
There is going to be some kind of major announcement regarding internal changes. It isn't hype. I have heard from several different sources that all confirm this.
Sounds like a cunning plan there watson .LOL , Of all the things I can think this religion needs to change it will probly be something mundane and trivial . Surprise yet another meeting since satan is still corrupting the masses with entertainment and liesure , we can't have people spending time with their families , the end is so near you will have eternity for that soon .
I reckon the announcement could be that all jw's should get rid of their computers.
The GB are afraid that the rank and file are reading too much common sense on sites such as this.

These supposedly significant announcements are nothing but mind games to keep the dubs going in the org and it's happening quite a lot recently, after the 1995 admission that the end could be centuries away (the now indefinably long figurative generation) they need to counter the negative effect of that by ideas that will motivate the demoralised masses.
The fact that the masses have a tendency to believe in pleasant hopes despite the realities of life and history helps the FDS to control them.
