Wait, I forgot one detail, I tried to put it in my last post but it didn't save for some reason.

I have a learning disability that I won't name because it's a very obscure one that can identify me but let's just say it's going to make getting into college way tougher. So I may have to stay home even if I don't date this girl. I'm starting to think just doing one or two dates and then seeing how things are from there is a good idea. Then we'd either not do well together at all because she's a dub and I'm not or maybe she's like me, someone only in because of parents, and we'd do well. She is the most normal witness I've met so far anyway.

I would say strive to go to college and get an education so that you can one day support a family.

In the mean time put out the thoughts to this girl and see where and how she responds.

Do you really want to immerse yourself in a region that strifed with lies and corruption like this ?

You're fully aware of the situation from the get-go. If you haven't seriously been involved yet, it is not worth it to get involved and wear your heart on your sleeve only to mostly likely be led into a torture filled situation.

Your'e not in yet, get involved with someone who fully accepts and adores you, as you.

If you're going to test the murky waters anyway, take your time and strictly be her friend as you plants seeds and see where she lands.

You sound incredibly naive. That can happen when dub kids are home schooled. I wish you the best!

I've always wondered how you can possibly truly know someone while you're in there as there are so many restrictions on what you can/can't do and people hanging over your heads. To explore the depths of a person requires a one of one relationship.

I most likely am naive, I've never had friends outside the org, but I'm much more street smart then anyone gives me credit for. I can generally read people like a book, I'm hoping that helps me out in the real world later even though I don't have experience being around non dubs.

When I was JW teen I used to go and socialize at the girls homes and do stuff with them there .

Its good way to see what a person is really like.

I wish i had the opportunity to do that with my first wife who was also a JW but left home to live with her step mother.

The marriage ending in a divorce unfortunately.
