Thanks for making me laugh, kerj2leev (by the way, I love your username)! OK maybe I'm being a bit harsh, but that's because of the marriage proposals I got while in were from the weirdest men. Gross men who thought they had a chance because I was viewed as an old maid - 24 and unmarried, oh no, and "used goods" because everyone knew why I was DF'd twice!!! Surely I will marry the 52-year-old elder widower because who else will want me, right? I think that's a joke. And a bigger joke that when I politely declined people told me it was an amazing offer and I was foolish to be so proud, and might not ever get another, or better, one.

So I left, and now I have a great dating life. With attractive men (inside and out, don't think me shallow) more my own age. :-) That's the way it's supposed to be!
