I never went to England, but if went to London for only 1 day, I'd walk around town all day and get a glimpse of the city.

Then I'd stop in a few bars and taste your beer, and try out a few restaurants and see what you guys eat.

Oh, I'd have a few cups of tea also.

I'd go visit the Queen of course...

OK on my trip in '85, I actually saw the Queen and Phillip in their limo - got a picture of it too!

In my trip in '87; actually saw Diana at Harrod's shopping. Also saw Dodi Fayed's father greeting everyone at the store (since he owns the place.) How creepy it was 10 years later when she died!

It would depend on what floats his boat to be honest....the Tate Modern and Tate Britain are excellent art galleries and cost little if not nothing to get in.

I also recently visited the Salvadore Dali Universe which has most of Dali's work including etches and sculptures; amazing place and the Picasso exhibition downstairs from it is well worth a look too.

Its about £10 to get in I recall with discounts.

I was in London yesterday. I walked through Soho and Chinatown, into Trafalgar Square, where I visited the National gallery. I stood for a considerable time admiring 'sunflowers' by Vincent Van Gogh, amazing.

I sat on a bench in Trafalgar Square drinking in the atmosphere and the sunshine (it was a beautiful day). Then I took a stroll down to St.James' Park which is absolutely gorgeous.

I walked back through the hustle and bustle of Leceister Square, then I explored the Trocadero (bought myself a bag of pic'n'mix - still a kid at heart). Then I met up with hubby (South African Beef) and we had a coffee in Starbucks, strolled down to the Slug and Lettuce for a cold drink, then we met up with friends for an Indian meal at Soho Spice.

A great day, I can highly recommend it. There's no city in the world quite like London, it's fab and I am so lucky that I live so close to it (only 30 minutes by train).

Hope this helps, love Bubble. XXX
