Thought you'd all enjoy this experience from Canada.

This is a cute experience from Andre' Ramseyer,
overseer, just back from the Branch Committee Course
    at Patterson:

In England one of our blind brothers had a seeing-eye
dog that would faithfully guide and take him to the
meetings each week. The dog got into the routine of
bringing our brother every Tuesday, Thursday and
    Sunday to the Kingdom Hall.
When our brother died, the dog became the property of
another blind person, this time a non-Witness.
The dog left the man puzzled. Every Tuesday, Thursday
and Sunday the dog was rearing to go and encouraging
his owner to leave the house. So finally, the man
followed the dog's lead, and unknown to him, he was
brought to the Kingdom Hall and guided to a chair. The
man didn't know where he was, but he enjoyed the warm
reception he got from everyone. He started to study
with the Bible with the Witnesses.

Not only does this experience show how Jehovah can
even use his animal creation to bring someone into the
Truth, but... also: If a dog knows where he should be
on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, isn't it a good
example for us and our own meeting attendance?

If a dog licks his crotch, isn't it a good example for us and our own grooming?

I remember a similar story doing the rounds years ago, here in Britain.

Why is there never ever any names given? Have can in be proved?

Also if the system is the same for guide dogs in USA as Britain then the following applies.

Guide dogs only work for 7 years then are retired.

They are not passed on to another owner. As the dog is trained from young, to to be a guide with a particular person and comes to know that person only. They cannot be given to anyone else because of that, they are so used to being with a certain person and their homelife, the sound of their voice etc.

They usually on retirement become a pet of the family.

I agree with aniron, I very much doubt this is a true story.
