There are many more movies that disappoint me than impress me.

One that I wasn't expecting to impress me but did, was Sense and Sensibility. Great film.

I hated the new Star Wars pretty much.

I don't expect much out of movies so, I'm not usually let down, but I was a nerd and expecting more from star wars!

    LOTR didn't disappoint.

    Howl's moving Castle was great.

The worst film by far that I have ever had the displeasure of "seeing" (I turned it off about halfway, nauseous) was a film I guess made in the 70's or something called "Caligula" starring Malcom Macdowell.

ugh. I was interested in it because I had read "I, Claudius" and was hoping for the historical part of the story mostly. I found Caligula to be the most humorous part of the story. Tiberius (the emporer during part of Jesus' life) was actually nastier than Caligula.

All I got was girls titties. (ok, I think 10 guys just probably ordered this from netflix :)

HOSTEL - from all the hype and the 'goriest film ever' tag, I expected it to be good. The IDEA was good, but I was very disappointed.

I watch the ALIEN quadrilogy often - the first ALIEN film was made inthe 70s and is still brilliant. I enjoyed SAW (the 1st one) and SE7EN.

    A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) impressed me.

Actually I really enjoyed xmen 3. I have loved all the xmen movies... I didn't feel like I wasted my money. I love the marvel movies.

Another one I thought wouldn't be any good but found to be OUTSTANDING was Crash. Wow - I cannot say enough about this movie.

I was sorely disappointed by the one with Jennifer Lopez and her wicked mother in law. See I can't even remember what it was called!

I was very disappointed in Angela's Ashes, ended up walking out, miserable movie to sit thru.

I was impressed with Cinderella Man.

I judge by if I would pay to go see it again or don't waste your money wait for it to come out on TV.,

I was sorely disappointed in Mr. & Mrs. Smith. I thought it was going to be more along the lines of True Lies, but it was stupid, boring and dull beyond belief.

I'm not keen on Hollywood "happy endings" and being raised on british product I find the Star Wars/Star Trek stuff mind numbingly predictable, moralistic and boring as bats piss

On the upside are movies that raise the spirit like "the bear" or "throw moma from the train"

Another one I thought wouldn't be any good but found to be OUTSTANDING was Crash. Wow - I cannot say enough about this movie.

Thanks peachy cheeks, I'll check it out.

And what's that 'Blair Witch Project' all about? To be fair - it looks like my average day.

There have been too many movies that I have been totally disappointed to list.

The last movie to really impress me was Mystic River.

Strangely enough, the movie that comes to my mind as being a big disappointment to me was 'A fish called Wanda' which got big hype and was was supposed to be hilarious but I only smiled once.

I loved the Alien movies (1&2), Matrix and the Terminator trilogy...and I agree, Crash was a suprise gem.
