It is sending the mesage that we aere so deep into the toes of the last days of this system of things, that the GB are willing to sacrifice these great gifts in men by sending them out to the R&F. Even tho they have the slightest idea of how they will make a living after being institutionalized for so many years.

That is precisely the point someone made to me on the FS and got me thinking on whether the JWs were indeed the true religion: "why doesn't the WTS despite its billions of dollars of property doesn't help the many widows orphans and poor among its loyal members?" I knew that as far as the local dubs were concerned there was indeed no care for the poor among them, because "jehovah's organisation is not a charity" and "pray to jehovah to help you".

I think most would accept the positive spin the WTS has put on it. Generally Bethelites preferred preaching to the factory work, so if the WTS says efficiences mean they can go back to the field they would not see anything unusal about it.
