I agree with hawk about journalists. Their reporting should always be without bias. When I watch the news I just want the facts, not the opinion of the Talking Head.

That's why I cannot stomach Fox News. You know, the channel where they are FOREVER proclaiming to be "Fair & Balanced"? As Shakespeare would say, "Me thinks they do protest too much". What a bunch of Rush Limbaugh wannabees (which is a horrifying thought).

The cheering persons on a Brooklyn roof top?

I doubt that they would be the JWs

from a bethelite....'many sisters were seen weeping at the site of
    the second crash'

one sister in my hall cried when the brother mentioned 'the victims and the families of the tragedy during his prayer'

i can guarantee there was no cheering

Even if they were really weeping they should have wept harder.. it's not enough just to weep.

one sister in my hall cried when the brother mentioned 'the victims and the families of the tragedy during his prayer'

So what, his prayer should have been longer and included offers of monetary assistance..

    Interesting.

I speak of an interview Dave Letterman had with Dan Rather last night
and how Dan said there were eyewitness reports that had come in to
CBS of people on a rooftop in Brooklyn, watching and cheering at
    Destruction of the WTC.

Dan didn't mention Brooklyn Heights, or the Watchtower, or jWs.

    I didn't mention them.

Out of all the thousands of buildings and hundreds of thousands of
Brooklynites, there were several posters in this thread who directly
mentioned that they just couldn't believe it would have been jWs
on top of one of their buildings in Brooklyn cheering...

Why did you posters think out jehovah's Witnesses when all Dan Rather
said was "building in Brooklyn" ... "sickos cheering Death"... ?

    VERY Interesting, indeed.

    - - -

    For AuSet and Winston saying:

I wonder, who they could have been... :( ....obviously they were overjoyed at the death and destruction of human life. How could they be any better than the terrorists themselves??
    and
Who ever it was, they have to be insane to do such a thing.

THAT is Exactly the Point I've been trying to make while posting all these Watchtower images of jWs in their literature laughing and cheering and "high-fiving" at scenes of Mass Death at the WTArmageddon(tm)

I said these scenes of Devastation were "eerily similar" to the WTC Destruction and Idiot Fredhall makes a whole thread dedicated to me (awww, how flat-ter-ulence-ing!) and is so stOOpid, that he
thought I was saying that jWs were cheering at the WTC Destruction...

see, it was the first thing to enter Fredhall's mind, too...
out of ALL the people and buildings in Brooklyn, jWs are picked
as MAYBE being the ones who were on the building cheering.

I think of all the posters on this thread, "slipnslidemaster"
nailed it the most with his/her comments.
That once the jWs see the REALITY, and not the ABSTRACT, they fairly
SHIT-IN-THEIR PANTS, they are so scared!

    Tally,

Your whole post was about Jehovah's Witnesses reactions to tragedy and then you give this anecdote.

I guess we were supposed to think you had switched gears and were talking about Mormons on top of a building in Brooklyn.

Your implication that Witnesses were having a party on top of Bethel was silly at best and heinous at worst.

    Hello Tallyman,

I just read your post and we must have been having the same thought. I just posted about last Sundays DC. Same theme, different locations.

I think that when the topic of the WTC get's brought up by our JW "friends", and we all know it will , I think that you should say "Well get used to seeing that because until Jehovah kills all the TV reporters, Armaggedon is going to look just like that for just under 6 billion other people."

Nail them to the wall with it.
