So how are you spending your Saturday morning?

Me? I'm just quietly going about my chores - Eagles DVD on in the background - as I tidy, sweep, scrub and dust. Each track that I hear seems to have a special meaning for me. Whether that's nostalgia for another time or place - I don't know, and I don't care. I'm at peace with the universe.

So if there's anyone out there feeling a little stressed or melancholy (or even if you're feeling fine), put on some music. A favourite album from years gone by or something new and inspirational. Let it sink into your soul and be at peace with yourself and the world.

It's raining, it's dreary. Cold and not much to do today.

Oh but.... I got a new little sewing machine. Hoping to get it out and teach myself to sew.

If I don't sew my sleeve to the project I'll be doing good.

Music is always a mood lifter. For me it's either Rennaisance music or my little playlist with my faves.

Unfortunately, my 4 and 6 year old prefer Jimmy Neutron.

Saturdays are relaxing usually, I am playing around with the computer then will do some shopping later in the day when hopefully the queues will be shorter. Listening to 1960's music from the PC.

Mixed ethnic music today: right now, Frank London's Brotherhood of Brass, featuring the Boban Markovics Orkestar, Pachamama, Inti-Illimani, and Bulgarian Voices. And a little Claude Bolling and Sidney Bechet – white-tie-and-tails jazz from the thirties.

Just cooked chocolate pancakes like I do every Saturday; I'm going to work on one of my side jobs - copyediting the 7th edition of a text on real estate appraisal. It's fun, actually.

I am shakey freezing and cold. I went to do a photo shoot and got drenched. Then sat under an air conditioner. So I am shaking. Then I got carsick on the way back. AAAgggghh I have a Birthday party in a little bit and I feel so crappy.

I get my Bollywood fix every Saturday morning. I enjoy watching NAMASTE AMERICA and then SHOWBIZ INDIA, which is still on as I write. :)
