Being hauled in to an elder's meeting every time I sneezed wrong. My parents were always calling them. But, at the same time, my stepdaddy dearest was molesting me. My mom knew, the elders knew, and no one did anything.

I could not believe that God was going to destroy a genuine good person just because they were not a witness.

Proabably when an elder asked if I had a problem with masturbation after I was notified that the Society had approved me for MS. I was so excited to be on the Servant Body that I put it in the back of my mind.... for a few years.

The simple fact that they so strongly discourage reading ex-JW literature. To me they made themselves look very suspicious that way. It always bothered me even when I still believed it was The Truth.

The consistent lying, I just can't stand liars .

I finally lost my rag after reading the new book, 'Live with Jehovah's day in Mind' released at this years conventions.

    Page 111 paragraph 11, and I quote:

"They have every reason to expect that what we are saying is the truth"

The Soc. has lied to me and all others consistently and regularly for over 50 years

The May 2002 broadcast of the Dateline NBC special on JW pedophiles. The evidence was overwhelming that the WT wasnt handling these cases in a loving, christian way when Bill Bowen called the WT legal dept and taped the conversation "... if there is no confession then leave it alone, Jehovah will bring it out" Something like that...

That made my skin crawl... I figured what else could they be doing wrong, 4 yrs later they are doing a whole lot wrong I came to find out.

The lack of fraternal love in the org, the JWs equate being loving with not being aggressive and destructive but this is only partly true one has to go beyond this and be actively caring and interested in the welfare of fellow Christians. Actually failure to show that real active interest may be a form of passive aggression to those that need it.
