You know, this place doesn't half make you reveal so much about yourself, LOL! OK, I was 24 when I set eyes on Claire and was determined to court her. I managed it and, eventually, she moved in with me. We loved each other. Of course, moving in with me led to a few things - but with 28 years of marriage coming up and neither of us ever having been unfaithful - including during our courtship - Watchtower is just putting the frighteners on young people.
Of course, no one here is advocating sleeping around. We're saying it is mutual trust that makes sex permissable in a loving relationship and not marriage! Someone started a thread somewhere about the number of dorks married to lovely JW girls. Well, I'm afraid that's what young girls in the organisation are likely to end up with because there aren't enough decent guys - I don't mean religious - to go around.
