I am trying to understand how come that only 144 000 get to go to "heaven", as i understand it there are about 5 million JW in the world right now. That means that the remaining 5 866 000 are going to be left on earth. Why would you want to serv a God that will not allow you to enter into His Kingdom, to get to spend an eternity with Him, i know that's what i want...
What is the point?

Dear SanJan,
WELCOME! Well as Witnesses, we were brainwashed to believe that hope was only held out for a select few. That there are two classes, those who had a earthly calling, and those that had a heavenly calling. The only way to identify which you were was the "feeling" or desire you had. EIther to be a King & Priest in the heavens, or to live in a earthly Paradise that they would reside over. Beings no other hope was held out, so we believed, earthly paradise seems just fine to most. if it didn't, then you must be of the "heavenly " class. Hope that helps ansewr your question.
Sincerely,
Lady Liberty

Hi sanjan, and welcome to the forum.
The idea of only 144000 going to heaven is just another screwed - up theory from a screwed - up religion. A God of love wouldn't treat his creation like that.

I really wouldnt want to go to gods house and spend an eternity with him. I cant think of anything id rather do less. Neither would I like to spend an eternity on earth with a bunch of Jehovahs WItnesses. Or any other religious nuts for that matter.
Id LOVE to spend an eternity studying for one Degree after another, and reading millions of books about everything, living in an air conditioned wooden house on a beach with free internet access.

Those jws who don’t belong to the 144000 heavenly class get to live forever on paradise earth under the rule of the kingdom. They are called the "great crowd" and will together with the men of faith (like Moses, Abraham, Job, etc.) reestablish the paradise condition and welcome all the resurrected ones who died before Armageddon.

It's a artificial distinction creased by the WTS to justify why only a few JWs have the authority to tell the rest of the JWs what to believe. If all were "equal" in God's eyes, then every r&f JW has as much "spiritual" authority as the gb and the remnant. -

Freetosee, said that teh men of faith will come back to reestablish their kingdom, my question is where is that found inthe Bible?
