Does it ever seem odd to others, that every religion has a symbol?
Does it ever seem odd to others that every nation and political party has a symbol?
Further, in the pic you'll find symbols for gender and CND / "ban the bomb". Coexistance goes beyond religious boundaries.
LT: Close...Put yourself under the reign of Cromwell, and you have it about right.
In this part of the world, This is what wins elections:
Fighting against Gays
Banning Abortion
Denying the Separation of Church and State
Teaching Sex Ed while mentioning abstinance as the only form of birth control
Stopping stem cell research
Saying you want to make America a Christian Nation based on Fundamentalist Teachings.

No, but it does seem very odd to me that lots of religions have a hat. Jews - skull cap / bowler hat Moslem - skull cap / hajib Catholic - tall pointy thing for bishops and pope JW's - tea towel Ahmish - straw boaters What is it with god and headgear?? Is he really that small minded that he will only save the gang wearing the correct thing on their heads?
They are lightning conductors for those worried about God's vengence...
...it's true, ask them...
C O E X I S T ?
LMAO!
JW's - tea towel
Now there's a fashion statement if ever.......awe well it's always been the JW's desire to be different, sigh.
I am an atheist, but I'm not foolish enough to believe that religion is the reason for all of the wars, bloodshed, etc. It is just a very useful tool. Greed and power are the main reasons, religion is just one way to motivate the quest for control. Nationalism is a religion of sorts (in this context). Want power? Create a group(base it on religion/race/nationality/class, become a leader, gain power, make it "us against them".
It is a lot easier for individuals to get along than for groups. As long as people continue to band together and form these groups, divisions amongst the groups will continue to grow. If it isn't based on religion it will just be based on something else. Wow, that is kinda negative sounding isn't it? Well, those are just my morning thoughts.

Yeah...what he said.
If someone can scan a blood card...the one with the 'No Blood' symbol ? The one with the large red circle with the slash thru it superimposed over a bag of blood. You can use it as the 'O' in COEXIST.
