Good point Jello. The meaning of disciple is simply student or pupil. Christians are simply to make other people pupils of Christ. The living Christ is the Master and people are his apprentices. No where is an orgnization in this relationship as described in the bible.
To summarize my above stated point more simply I would say it all comes down to one thing trust
Once you trust that everything the JWs have taught you is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth you become a pawn in their game. Once someone reaches this point they will believe anything the JWs throw at them.
This can eaisly been understood when looking at how JWs react when you challenge their organization. What is the first thing they start talking about in defense? It's the teachings that they first learned from the Watchtower Society. It's the teachings that lead them to trust the Watchtower. That's all they ever end up caring about, because anything else they have learned along the way is just accepted and never tested.
It's that turning point in trust which makes all the differance. Once they have gained the trust of a new member that member will rarely ever call them out on their outrageous teachings and claims to divine authority. Why should they? They completely trust them!
They were here today on my property I manage, I told them they were tresspassing and to leave my property now. Man I never seen two men run like scared little chickens. hehehehehehehe
Jello....the JWs say that no matter HOW sincere a person is, or how close to the scriptures someone lives by.....they are dead meat in God's eyes IF they are not "in the organization" He approves....of course, meaning the Watchtower Society. Every other religion but theirs, is seen as "false religion", and God is going to kill off six billion people as the JWs look on.....and as they rejoice at living in "clean" conditions.
Even Mother Theresa, who obviously wasn't a member of the WTS, and was seen as one involved with "false religion" although JWs will admit she "was sincere in her efforts"....but, she never "pleased Jehovah"....just to give you an idea of how fanatical and elitist the JWs thinking is.
The unchristian Watchtowergod favors only the JWs and has no use for anyone else on the face of the earth....unless they are people who are "studying WITH" JWs! ONLY JWs will find salvation through the WTS and live forever....but don't ask this direct question to a JW, they are taught to side-step this teachings and do a fancy two-step that even the judges on "DANCING WITH THE STARS" would envy. They WILL lie through ther teeth.
