Calm down friends - news indicates it was an accident.

It's an uptown rezy building in a rezy neighborhood that was hit by a small airplane...It is proably going to put a few high powered executives out of their luxury apartments. They will just have to be inconvenienced and travel from their Million dollor homes in the Hamptons to Manhattan for a few weeks.

Folks, it doesn't look to be anything more sinister than some retard in a Cessna crashing into a building. These things happen. Also--let's not make the mistake of reading too much into specific dates and drawing parallels. Most of us made that mistake once before, remember?

just drove by the area (work close to the area), doesn't seem to be a big deal. The actual impact footprint on the building is small, so it must have been a small plane or helicopter. Traffic is quite a mess though.
