I've had the occasional dream that I'm back in the wts, and it's been a relief to wake up and realise that's all it was, or will ever be again.

Have you ever woke up from having a dream and wondering if it really happened? You lay there trying to rationalize the whole situation.

Good Girl or Bad Girl?
YES, this happens all too often, Juni. When I'm stressing about work I will dream about work, but the dreams are so real that I sometimes can't figure out if they are real or just dreams... did I really have that conversation with my boss? Sh*t. As for JW dreams, unfortunately I do. Not as often as six months ago, but this is all still pretty fresh. I definitely have the running away feeling or I am running away or I am wishing I could hide under a rock, or a KH chair, as it were. It's weird. Usually I wake up and am relieved it was just a dream. What's more disturbing is when I have a Happy JW dream and then I wake up and shudder. UGH.Have you ever woke up from having a dream and wondering if it really happened? You lay there trying to rationalize the whole situation.

Just last nite, Min! Damn how did you know?
I was walking up to the door of the Kingdom Hall - which for some reason was all glass - I saw the meeting was already begun. As I opened the door, a couple of my former associates looked up and smiled little crooked smiles, and tried to look like they had not seen me. I made my way to the back row [theocratic submission you know] and found a seat [not too hard to do since it looked like about 20 people were all that were there. I kept thinking over and over 'What the hell am I doing here? I vowed never to set foot in this place again.' Then the dream ended.
Must have been a subconscience reaction to the upcoming DA announcement with my name attached this week.

Jeff, I could see why you might have that dream this week.

Rarely. My entire youth was spent as a hard core witness, so it is hard to escape it entirely.

I have regular dreams about going out in service or giving a talk.

I have had nightmares about it(literally-armageddon, concentration camps, you know). Grew up in it so it wasn't any fantasy. I wish it was worthy of a good dream. I think most JWs dream of the day that they really are 'happy people' and the congregation is as 'loving' as they advertise. I think so many people wonder what is wrong with them or their cong. when they don't have much in the way of warm fuzzies. Churches are just filled with people-and KHs are exactly the same, only the people are more miserable.

Lately, most of my JW dreams deal with seeing elders just looking or staring at me and saying nothing....A pretty good dream, I guess.
