If the Society aren't secretive then why don't they reveal the names of those who wrote the NWT? Why don't they say who writes their articles and publications? Why don't they publish a full, comprehensive annual financial report showing where all the money is and how it is being spent, like other bona fide charities do? Oh, yeah, the WTB&TS is so OPEN and HONEST.
That's why when the secular authorities conduct investigations regarding pedophilia within the congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses, they are met with a stonewall of "clergy-penitent priviledge."
Isn't it odd for a group that has said for so long that it has no clergy class to suddenly invoke such protection?
And where did that protection COME from, anyway? Surely it is a demonic teaching of a doomed corrupt and SECRETIVE world; it isn't based on scripture, is it?

Honesty
Dedicated as they are to the open and public service of God, Jehovah's Witnesses will be happy to reveal the plain facts of their activity and beliefs to anyone who cares to know the facts. Why not investigate for yourself, thus being in position to be properly informed as to their faith?
I investigated and was labeled an apostate by the worldwide brotherhood of Jehovah's Witnesses.
