Min, I agree. That's what helped anchor me out--researching in their 'encylopedias'!!!!!

It simply didn't make sense the deeper I looked into it (my doubts).

They are the one making the claim, therefore the burden of proof is on them.

The first thing I would point out to them is the fact they keep changing their "truth". One moment Teaching A is Truth and anyone who wants salvation must believe and teach Teaching A. The next moment Teaching B not only replaces Teaching A, it also contradicts it! How can both be Truth?

Maybe they have Religious Quantum Mechanics.

Jehovah's Witnesses are wolves in sheep's clothing counterfeit Christians.Every Jehovah's Witness member will grow old and die just like everyone else.What's scary is they are hedging all their hopes on an imminent Armageddon to deliver them.

There is no Armageddon that will annihilate 6.5 billion people,and install Watchtower leaders as world rulers.

The core dogma of the Watchtower organization is that Jesus had his second coming 'invisibly' in the year 1914.Their entire doctrinal superstructure is built on this falsehood. Jehovah's Witnesses door to door recruitment is by their own admission an ineffective tactic. They have lost membership in all countries with major Internet access because their false doctrines and harmful practices are exposed on the modern information superhighway. There is good and valid reasons why there is such an outrage against the Watchtower for misleading millions of followers.Many have invested everything in the 'imminent' apocalyptic promises of the Jehovah's Witnesses and have died broken and beaten.

Now if you wanted to know about the quality of a product,would you listen to the seller's pitch or a former longtime customer?

Easy. "By their fruits you will recognise them" and "by this all will know you are my disciples, by the love you have amongst yourselves". JW's fail abysmally on these two hallmarks of 'true christianity' by: Their flawed two-witness policy re child abuse accusations, letting babies and children die from want of a blood transfusion, and ruining families and causing untold personal misery through their harsh shunning policy, and lastly, failing to do any kind of general Christian charity for the poor, lame, blind, deaf, and downtrodden in their communities.

Ask them, "If you are the one true religion, why has your god allowed you to make so many mistakes, that you have become a punch line of the joke of organized religion in our time?"
