So how do you keep your clothes hangers tidy?

BETTER STILL: Do like the evolved among us. Move near the ocean and live in a tent. Be seen on surfboard wearing eau d' ganja and occasional wetsuit. This technique has been known to work wonders for uncluttering hangers and hangups alike.

I hang the empty hangers alternately inbetween hangers with clothes on. That way when I go to my wardrobe to get out an empty one it cant get tangled up with another empty one.

If I have lots of empty ones spare I throw some away so there are always 'gaps' between the full hangers to put empty ones (if you see what I mean).

I cant believe I have put so much processing time into thinkin out this problem!!

BYW - I cant stand putting trousers on hangers, because the trousers always slip to one end or the other and loses its balance. And I HATE those hangers with clips on to avoid the problem I have just described. They are so clunky and awkward.

    G'day Katie:

I hate the clip ones too - for my own trousers, but I always use them for Mrs Ozzie's pants 'cos they're drip dry. But now i wonder, what do you do with the pants?

I have a SPECIAL pants hanger!!

Its the daddy of hangers. Its got 5 bars that slide in and out and you hang a pants over a bar and then slide it back in.

All the rest of my pants I fold and have in drawers or in the bottom of my wardrobe (jeans and stuff that dont need to hang).

(What time is it in your neck of the woods Ozzie? Its 11am here, and im still in my dressinggown under a quilt on the sofa cos im on half term)

Ozzie, It concerns me when you say that you drip dry your clothing as I would fear the garments being weighed down with the excess water which may result in pulling the garment out of shape.

heh heh, yea we're worried about your fashion sense Ozzie!!

    Are you a bri-nylon babe? A drip-dry dapper chap?

Cos, quite frankly, if your clothes are all out of shape from inadequate hanging arrangements you can kiss goodbye your invite to any apostofests in the UK!

Yeah Ozzie, We don't want anyone with their sleeves flapping around their knees thankyou. I bet you hadn't even noticed that your favourite jumper looks more like a dress these days. Everyones been too polite to say anything though.

    LMAO at Moomin!

It reminds me of a cartoon I saw with a woman knitting a jumper, and shes knitted one sleeve way longer than the other. The cartoon is her husband trying on the jumper, one arm flapping round his ankes and the woman looking really mad and saying "you didnt TELL me one arm was longer than the other!"

    Ozzie:

I drip dry everything - saves on ironing!! (Just like a man, eh?)

    Yup

    KK:

...you hang a pants over a bar and then slide it back in.

    My knees just went wobbly!
