    1) Cologne, aerosol spray, solvent base products

I am hypersensitive to solvents. Solvents used in aerosol sprays, cologne, perfumes affect my health. Products containing solvents should not be used in the rooms.

    2) Noise

The volume of sound from conversations and electronic devices should not extend beyond the 2 closed doors.

    3) Time sharing of telephone and bathroom

    Bathroom:

between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. the duration of time in the bathroom should be under 30 minutes.

after 6 a.m. the duration of time in the bathroom should be under 10 minutes.

    Telephone:

between 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. the duration of time using the phone will be under 10 minutes.

between 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. the duration of time using the phone will be under 30 minutes.

    4) rooms set-up

I have the rooms arrange to serve as 2 single rooms. Both rooms have closets. I have the room with the kitchenette. The kitchen is not available for use.

The bathroom is a shared space. One towel rack each. The 3rd towel rack is for the bathmat. The grab-bars will not be used for towels or rags. Cabinet space is divide in half.

    5) cleaniness

The bathroom will remain clean at all times. All towels, bathmats hung in the proper places. The counter and sink in the bathroom cleaned after each use. Toilet flushed completely.

No food garbage left in the room.

If the room door is open, the room must be presentable to outside guests.

    6) Vistors

give advance notice if Guests are expected.

Sounds like the 11th - 16th commandments... JW & Bethel life at its very best - nothing more than a struggle for power and control. --"I have the room with the kitchenette. The kitchen is not available for use." Selfishness all the way around. I don't think my roommate in college came up with garbage like this.

    Was the bathroom obedient?

Man made rules are pretty common in jw land.

    Who's room/rules are these?

Topic of the day seems to be Jesus Cano but I'm not sure if these were his rules for his roommates.

    The kitchenette comment nauseated me.

With rules like that I'm surprised there aren't more instances of violence in Bethel. Or maybe there are, and we just don't hear about them. It would be easy to dispose of bodies on the watchtower farms, and just inform the families the missing were ejected for apostasy, to ensure no one looks for them.

No kidding! I wanted to slug him (whoever this is) just reading all of his little rules.

If it's that pedo guy, too bad one of his previous roommates didn't take your suggestion, FF.

He forgot his signature at the end: "..So let it be written; So let it be done..."

If you like such structure I think you would be better off joining the military in the USA, They have a better retirement plan.

Is this for real? When sharing a room at Bethel thats it sharing not stating what can and cannot be used. I didn't know the rooms had kitchenettes I thought they got all their meal communally. Sounds like this guy has OCD. I'd ask for reassignment. Maybe he did this so he could have a private room. lol
