Sorry hit the key board and it posted!
Do you have a wonderful pet or pets? Do they add to your life and put a smile on your face?
I adopted 2--105 pound Dobermans that could not be more gentle. We have had them for 4 months and our family just adores them. Thet are perfect gentlemen in the house.
When someone rings the door bell they come and sit quietly while we open the door....if we invite the humans in the boys sit and give a dog smile, and wait until they are told to go lay down. If there is another reaction, they rise up and will lunge in a minute willing to kill.
These boys are the most loving, obedient dogs I have ever had in my life.
We also have an 18 pound cat that hates them but we are working on the accpetance factor between the three.
What pet or pets do you enjoy?

These are all cute. Now I see the turkey which I thought was a slice of pizza!
Is Wasabi a love bird? And what do you have in your pond?
I have an 11 month old mini cocker spaniel. She is very smart and does quite a few tricks, but she can be oh so naughty. Also have had lovebirds, lori, guinea pigs, parakeets, cockatiel. Have had 3 other dogs who have sinced passed away.
Dobermans are very friendly dogs. That is wonderful that you have 2 good males. Were they raised together as pups do you know? Were they on the run or turned over by someone?

I love Birds!
I had an African Timnea (spelling) related to the the African Grey. He was the love of my life, and would chase the cat and dog in the house. His famous lines were "Give me a Kiss", "I love you" and "Shit"....sorry administration! His vocabulary was remarkable and he
He also would call the cat, and meow, loved to sit on my shoulder when I cooked to get fresh tidbidts.
We had a screened in pool so, I allowed him to have his wings and he would fly between all the plants but would always come to me anytime I called him. In other words to come to bed, eat, etc.
One day, someone came to get some plants I had offered and left the screen door open. They frieghtened him and he took off. I was not at home.
That was over 8 years ago and I still listen and whatch for that sweet bird. His name was Doobie. When he wanted attention he would start shouting Doobie, doobie dooooo and COME HERE!

JUNI, The boys are half brothers one is 6 and one is 3 but raised together.
They were gifts to the owner from her husband who died suddenly. These 2 dogs kept her sanity until she was able to move on. She finally had to get full time work after he died and she advertised them on the internet. She had over 100 responses and chose our home after interviewing us. I feel so fortunate to have these beautiful dogs. The older one is police trained and very serious all the time but a real lovey, the younger one is more easy going and is a constant source of silly behavior. They are each 110 pounds and scare everyone to death, but they couldn't be sweeter boys.

Poor Doobie and you. African Greys are good at speaking and mimicing and whistling. My mother in law had one named Sylvia. She had a large vocabulary and would whistle Dixie.
