I kid you not, I was planning on starting a thread tonight on pets, asking who has what. This is the second thread today that I was going to start, but someone else started it instead.

Kinda reminds me of "spiritual food at the proper time", and the JWs I've known who always would SWEAR up and down that a Watchtower touched on an issue they were recently having, and answered their question in the nick of time. Not superstitious at all though...

    Oh yeah, about pets!

I can't post a pic of mine, because that would be incriminating, but I do love ALL animals. I have the sweetest dog who was rescued from a pound. I wish I could say more, but I really feel like I'm being watched :( There's a cute story to go with her though. Maybe one day when I am DFed I will show you all my little furry friend!

Some of my other favorite animals are reptiles and small mammals. Turtles and rodents, yummmm :) I just love them all!

By the way, that bird is beautiful!

The only kind of bird I've owned was when I was a little kid. My dad brought me a baby night hawk that was abandoned at a job site, and I raised it. He thought I was his mom They get so attached don't they? I've also raised baby chickens. I loved them too. They would come when they were called and kiss me (chicken kisses, lol).

And no, I wasn't raised on a farm, hah!

A cute adorable smart English cocker and a lovable Australian sheperd are our doggies du jour. The cocker is my firstborn, the sheperd is kind of like my stepchild, but a good boy, just drives me nuts sometimes! I love dogs though, cannot stand cats (sorry cat lovers).

    Juni,

Wasabi is a Parrotlet. He's a miniature Amazon parrot. Same attitude and intelligence, smaller body. The pond is a home for 15 Koi ranging from 4 inches long to about 13" long.

2 dogs who are now my only children-one with ears like velvet to the touch and both with the most soulful eyes you could ask for. They are always there to welcome me home. And it doesn't take much to keep them happy. The only downside of having a pet is when you have to say goodbye.

I love my pets and they are great diversion when needed. See a jw conversation coming? Hey, the dog needs to go out! Look at the cats aren't they cute? Are you hungry little kitty?

I have five boxers: Gryffindore, Valkyrie, Genovieve, Shadowgate, and Kirby the amazing living vaccuum cleaner.

Two cats: Moaning Myrtle and Dusty.

And one very cross hedgehog, Smudge.

I love animals and have had snakes, birds, a 5 1/2 foot Iguana, a slew of fish, and a gorgeous skunk.

I currently breed boxers and have two litters coming by the end of the year.

Wow, calyndra!! That's a lot of critters! and I'm guessing there's at least one Harry Potter fan in your house :)

We have a Malamutt and two silver tabbys.. I love my hairy kids, but sometimes they drive me nuts! The cats are elderly and I clean up cat barf allll the time, ugh.. and we are currently without a fenced yard so I walk simon (the malamutt) and somedays I get really tired of trying to convince him to poo :)

Not sure what I'd do without any of them, though, and my cats were there for me when no human was, so I guess a little barf isn't so bad.
