You've been on my mind this afternoon, and I finally realised why.
Following on from my previous comments I had cause to look at your posting history. Out of 222 posts 105 of them have been topics. Not bad work in seven weeks. I've been here over five years and only amassed 165 topics. Are you competing with Minimus?
I can understand the desire to help others, but you really do need to help yourself as well. Rather than always starting "thought provoking" threads, and semi-preaching, try to remove the door-frame from around everyone and just enjoy their company. You don't need to condense things into a 30-60 second presentation anymore!
Here we have a communal living-room. Pull up a chair, and instead of directing the conversation or lurking and listening, maybe try to just contribute to an existing flow. You nearly succeeded in doing so a couple of weeks ago (five weeks was a pretty short period of time to get disgruntled with it all). Instead of being the initiator try a different role and see how you enjoy it.
Just my 2p. I think you'll benefit from it, but take it or leave it
