Go somewhere and sweat! Get a good work-out in and you'll feel much better. Endorphins and Dopamine surges are awesome! Then go and eat a great, good-for-you meal. Repeat daily.

I always feel sad when someone posts that they are depressed because I've been there and it's no fun at all. Please try to hang in there, life comes in cycles, so there are better days to look forward to. If you can't shake these feelings, please seek professional help. There's no magic pill for everyone but there are some wonderful medications that can help. There is no shame in it. It's an illness like any other.

we're on the edge of winter and i think a lot of us get low this time of year, having other issues piled up on top of it really sink us down.
i hope your spirits lift really soon. dont isolate yourself, come here and vent and get feedback as much as you need it.

Thinking of you, FreedomFrog. I've been there also. I had to get busy...go out for a walk, clear my head. Someone else mentioned exercise...that really works too. I found a heavy bag and a good pair of boxing gloves helped me immensely.
Talking things out....knowing others are there for you...knowing others have had similar troubles in the past...it all helps. Sometimes some may need medication to get through the toughest part of depression. We're all here for you hon.

Hang in there, Also try St.Johns Wort for the depression, it an all natural herb you can get at wal-mart. Does wonders for the mind.

Hugs for Frog Sorry love that you're in this. When I was depressed, I did everything; diet, exercise, counselling, medication, writing, talking, sunshine. Something worked - I got better. People get cured. Hang in there.

Freedom, I know where you are coming from. There are some very good herbal combos that can, overtime, heal your nervous system to where you experience much more stable moods. And when you are feeling in that gray, dark place where there seems to be no hope, please don't lose heart, it really will pass.
