During the Christmas season, many Jehovah`s Witness`s will be having "Not a Christmas Turkey Dinner"..There will be turkey, mashed potatoes,gravey,vegetables,cranberrys..ect..But it won`t be a Christmas Dinner..My good JW mom will be at my inactive good JW Wife and her boyfriends house, showing them how she dosen`t celebrate Christmas,at the "Not a Christmas Turkey Dinner"..Do you know anyone who has a "Not a Christmas Turkey Dinner",during the Christmas Holidays?...OUTLAW

We always had a "not a Christmas" turkey dinner. We even went on a bus tour on the Niagra Peninsula to view the Christmas lights.

We always had a "Not A Christmas Ham Dinner." Afterwards we would fall asleep from eating too much and dream about talking to blueberries and petting lions.

We had the "not a Thanksgiving" turkey dinner. But near Christmas, we'd always drive around checking out the Christmas lights.

Well... I dunno about the 'Not a Christmas Dinner' - but my mom would go out shopping around Thanksgiving (mid-November), and buy the turkey, cranberry sauce, etc. - and we'd have a 'Not a Thanksgiving Dinner'.
"It's because turkeys are cheaper this time of the year." - yeah... riiiiight... *rolls eyes*
As for the Christmas lights - I think my mom was a 'closet pagan' or something... we'd go driving around downtown to 'look at the pretty lights'. They always had to drie past one or two favorite places - where they used to have mechanical manequins that played an organ - or a Santa Claus - or whatever.
We didn't get out much - so I always looked forward to doing this.

Why do they stop at a not-a-Christmas-turkey-dinner? Why not also exchange not-a-Christmas-gift or two? And then there's the not-a-Christmas-tree with not-a-Christmas-ornaments on it. Send out not-a-Christmas-card to friends and relatives wishing them not-a-Merry-Christmas.

We always ate the turkey later and hopefully before it was freezer burned. But we did drive around and look at the pretty lights. They also never gave to the food drives because it was christmas..
