Do you think that Jehovah and Jesus should take some of the blame?

I truly love Jehovah and Jesus and no matter what I will always serve them, but sometimes I feel that Jehovah and Jesus are the blame for Satan the Devil getting totally out of control. I just don't understand(and maybe never will) why Jehovah and Jesus have allowed Satan and the Demons to cause nothing but heartache for thousands and thousands of years. I just don't get it. People always talk about free will and that Jehovah has a bigger plan ahead but why should people have to suffer misery in order to possibly gain happiness? If someone threatened myself or my family I would do whatever it takes to subdue them Why on earth would the Almighty God Jehovah just allow Satan all of this power?

Well first let me say that I'm an atheist.

But here's something to think about: according to the 'issue of universal soverenty' satan thinks that humans would be better off without god. So, thinking logicaly, why would satan CAUSE trouble? In order to prove his point he should aspire for a global man ruled utopia, right?

So I highly doubt that Satan is the one causing the problems. I said this in my very last post, but I'll say it again: man gets sick and dies because god made us that way, man goes to war because god confused our langauges and instigated all the holy wars by making the super cryptic bible, and he cut us back over a thousand years in science by rebooting the human race with a flood.

Before I became an atheist, I often thought that God's leadership style is pretty sloppy. He allows subordinates to stir up trouble without doing anything about it. His leadership is challenged without any corrective. Those on the bottom rung of the ladder suffer because middle management is allowed to create conflict and confusion, yet the underlings are the ones called on the carpet to answer for it. If God were a CEO, he wouldn't last a week before being fired.

The Sovereignty issue is completely illogical. No one would question Almighty God destroying Satan, and Almighty God would not allow billions to suffer simply to pander to one of his creations. Jehovah must have a plan different from what the Watchtower has invented.

We don't even know for certain they are not the same being. Nobody really knows the plan..but you cannot call foul until the game is over..if you do...you can get egg on your face if you condemn a brilliant move or sacrifice that ends up winning the game.

Prove to me that they exist, and then I'll let you know if they are blameworthy. Should Isis and Osiris take some of the blame? Should Shiva and Vishnu take some of the blame? Maybe Molech or the Baal-Peor? Zeus, Apollo, Athena? But I digress. If Jehovah/Yahweh and Jesus/Joshua exist, then they are the cause of death and suffering for all mankind. To prove - what? that Jehovah/Yahweh is a murderously insecure deity strangely preoccupied with the condition of male genitalia and who loves the smell of burnt flesh? Besides, if you are aware of a child being molested, and you do nothing about it in order to find out if the child deserves salvation from his/her unfortunate predicament, then you're just as despicable as the molester. The worship of nonexistent deities is a game that should have been over a long time ago.

    Booker-T,

Lt said something I do concur with. Take Genesis chapter 11 about the language confusion at babel. What was the purpose of such a measure and what were the circumstances.

According to the insprired word of God himself he is responsible for causing division along languages lines, culminating in ethnical and religious difference which have haunted mankind untill this day.

Of course you may reason that if humans were allowed to rule under one governement it would be a disaster because it would prevent the messiah from appearing within the mosaic framework........ or something along those lines.....basically, this line of reasoning only reflect the cynic caracter of it.

Is God a cynic? If he is love, just, strength and wisdom....would that not perfectly shown is his own record from start to finish? Would that not be reflected in nature around us? May be you are inclined to confirm this, but you are also aware of the many anomalies that then have to reflect a different caracter. Which in itself is contradictory to the first premises.

This theory advocated by WT is....problematic and does not hold any water on thourough investigation. May be you are not fully ready for it. Consider it a device to cross the water and move on with your journey without taging along that device.Time to let go, dude.

    Cheers

Aye, that Satan - he be a wily rascal!

It sounds like J&J should be put on reproof and Satan should be disfellowhipped!

I think it depends on your belief system, if you accept the wts version of the challenge made in heaven to god regarding rulership of the earth and who has the right to rule it or Greek mythology or atheism or whatever, you need to find some balance that makes you comfortable and someday someone will be right.
